As the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, I have recognised the need to increase public awareness of the services and resources available from various departments and institutions under my purview. Accordingly, I am pleased to introduce a unique programme under the title of Glocal 2022, to create awareness about the services available to the public from the Ministry. We expect more than 10,000 people, including those looking for employment opportunities at home and abroad, to participate in this programme on each day of the fair. It is my belief that by utilising this opportunity, the people will benefit from the domestic and foreign employment opportunities and the related services offered by my Ministry, which will create a more informed workforce that will contribute to the development of the country. I invite you all, especially the youth, to participate in this programme and obtain information and advice on employment opportunities and related services, both at home and abroad.
